We are pleased to welcome you to DogZworth’s Nov 3-4, 2007 “Welcome To Region 20” NAFA flyball tournament. Thank you for entering and good racing to everyone! Our tournament will be held in Brampton, ON at the Fairgrounds- 12942 Heart Lake Rd. Please CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS – clean up materials will be available at the entry door to the building. Don’t forget to check out our raffle table!
Plenty of crating will be available outside. There is limited indoor crating.
Where to eat: The DogZworth Diner will be open this weekend. We will be serving snacks, beverages, breakfast and lunch. The closest Tim Hortons restaurant is at the corner of Mayfield Rd and Hwy 10. To get to Tim Hortons turn right out of the fairgrounds. Go south on Heart Lake Rd, turn right on Mayfield. The trip is approx 10 minutes.
On site vendors:
“Le Nez Dans L’Herbe” will be selling herbs (alfalfa, kelp and their House Blend). The House Blend contains Alfalfa, Kelp and Rose Hip. The combined effect of the Alfalfa (a natural anti-inflammatory) and the Rose Hip powder (an easily assimilated source of vit C) is a great complement, and is particularly helpful with older dogs that suffer from joint pain.

Sally Mann will be there selling assorted dog toys and pet care accessories.
On Site Camping: On site camping with electrical hook up is available but please do not dump your grey water. Also, if it has been raining, please camp on one of the gravel roads behind the building. The big soccer building will be open until approx midnight. We have been given permission to use their bathrooms after we lock our building. But please do not use them during the day. Also, do not bring your dogs into the soccer building. Camping is free.
*** NEW Directions to the fairgrounds from Toronto- take highway 401 (west) to highway 410. Go north on highway 410 until it stops and exits at Mayfield Rd. Turn left and continue just a short stretch to the next light which is at Heart Lake Rd. Turn right and continue north on Heart Lake Rd. The fairgrounds are on your left (west) side (approx 8 minutes north of the 410).

Measuring will begin at 7:30.
Warm-ups: There will be a two minute warm-up period allowed at the beginning of each race. Time will start at the end of the preceding race. The warm up time will change to a one minute period. We will advise you when the warm up time has been changed.
RACING: Racing will begin at 8:00 am on Saturday and 7:30 am on Sunday. DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS – ON SATURDAY NIGHT PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK ONE HOUR!
Our judges are Dave Walt and Josh Watson. Placement awards will be presented.
Divisions have been divided according to the submitted team times. Each division has been assigned a break-out time one second faster than the top seed time in that division (for additional information see NAFA rule 5.5).
Round Robin (3 out of 5 format): Teams will earn one point for each race they win and 0 for each loss. The team with the highest point total will earn 1st place, the second highest will earn 2nd place and so on.
Round Robin (4 out of 4 format or 3 out of 3); Teams will earn one point for each heat they win and 0 for each loss. The team with the highest point total will earn 1st place, the second highest will earn 2nd place and so on. In the 4 out of 4 or 3 out of 3 format, tied heats will not be re-run. Both teams will earn 1 point for a tied heat.
TIES: Ties will be broken in the following order: Previous head to head, fastest time head to head, over all fastest time.
