NAFA Hall of Fame Inductee!

Bizzz-Quick- Bizzy is a 13 year old Border Collie adopted  from Border Collie Rescue Texas.  At first her rescuers didn't think she was adoptable (she was very spooky & fearful), but at a year old she was adopted and traveled 1400 miles from TX to Canada.  Bizzy’s start in life wasn’t the best but her devotion to flyball is extraordinary. 

Bizzy is as Bizzy does!  A tireless start dog, a must win anchor dog, second, third- Bizzz runs in any position, into any dog.  Each run is exactly the same- she is very easy to pass into.   She started racing in 2000.  Bizzy has raced with Zippity-Do-Dogs, Tailspinners, Cool Runnings and since 2003, DogZworth.   She ran in DogZworth's first 16 second run.  In 2008 Bizzy was the very important fifth dog on DogZworth's 2008 Regional Champion team.  She was our "secret weapon" and was always ready to step in if our "A" team needed her to race. 

Since 2007 Bizzy is one of NAFA's top pointed dogs (#3), the highest pointed Canadian dog and the highest pointed Border Collie in NAFA.  Yes, Bizzy has been very busy! In 2006 Bizzy earned 21,970 points and was the top point earning dog in NAFA.  In 2007 Bizzy was nominated for NAFA's Clyde Moore Hall of Fame- she lost by less than 3 votes.  In Nov 2008 she was inducted into NAFA's Clyde Moore Hall of Fame.

At home Bizzy enjoys barking at & chasing house-mate Toon up the stairs & across the living room, barking at the phone when it rings, barking at the door, chasing tennis balls or frisbees, walking as fast as possible during walks and visiting mom or dad for a pat in the middle of the night.  She has never completely forgotten her past and is still somewhat suspicious of strangers.  But, once she knows you, she'll never forget to drag her human over to you for a visit.  Bizzy has also dabbled in dock diving, dog sledding and agility.  She once did a photo shoot for Dogs In Canada magazine!

 Bizzy has almost 125,000 NAFA flyball points.  She is the first rescue dog to earn the 100,000 Hobbes title and the second Canadian dog to reach this milestone.  Only 12 other dogs have earned a Hobbes.  Bizzy also has her TF-II U-FLI title.
