We're picking four dogs that really shine- your very special racers.. dogs and handlers that have that
something special between them. We'll know them when we see them!
Since we don't know everyone's dog we are asking for nominations, but keep in
mind that a dog doesn't need to be nominated to earn a Bizzy.
All dogs racing at our Big O tournament will be considered for these special
awards. Here are is the wording for the four Bizzy
awards: A Rescued Racer, Our Secret Weapon, A Dog That Never Slows Down & Is Always Ready To Go and A Veteran Racer- there
is nothing like experience to help our team win the race. We also have 4 other Bizzies
to present!

Pet Show Passes:
Every human coming to our

Friday in the flyball area. One
representative from each team should collect passes for his or her entire
team. If your team is not setting up on
Friday passes can be picked up on Saturday morning at the main entrance into
the pet show (follow the signs to “Stade” in the
parking lot). Look for the DogZworth
team member- he or she will be holding some black and yellow balloons. Our team member will be waiting at the
security entrance it’s located just after the box office area (where the public
will be buying their tickets to the show).
The entry fee is $12 per person- please don’t loose your free pass. You will need it both days.
Where to park on Sat & Sun: Use indoor parking lot

The building will be open at 7:00am on Saturday and Sunday. Measuring will begin at 7:30 on Saturday
morning.
Warm-ups: There will be a 1.5 minute warm-up period allowed at the
beginning of each race. Time will start when
you have entered the ring. The warm up
time might change to a minute period. We
will advise you if the warm up time has been changed.
RACING:
Racing will begin at 8:00 am on Saturday and 7:30 am on Sunday.
In order to
accommodate everyone’s Saturday evening dinner plans we plan to run 18 races
per hour (or more!!). If we all co-operate, it will be easy to accomplish
that goal. Remember this is a 1 schedule, 2 ring event. The 2 race
counters will display the highest number race currently running. So for
example, while race 1 and 2 are running, race 2 will be displayed on the
counters and races 3 and 4 are on deck. A DogZworth team member will be
directing you to your ring so don’t guess where to go. You want to be
sure you’re running in the correct ring. Another thing to remember this
event attracts 1000s of spectators that have never seen flyball so smile, have
FUN and if any of the spectators have questions please direct them to our
information booth.
Our judges are Dave Walt
and Carl Dingee. Also appearing in the
middle of the racing lanes are Danielle Beauregard, Gail D’Avolio,
Cy Edmonds, Scott Stein and possibly a few other NAFA judges- yes we’ll be well
taken care of!
Divisions have been divided
according to the submitted team times. Each
division has been assigned a break-out time one second faster than the top seed
time in that division (for additional information see NAFA rule 5.5).
Round Robin (3 out of 5 format): Teams will earn one point for each race they win and 0 for each
loss. The team with the highest point
total will earn 1st place, the second highest will earn 2nd
place and so on.
Eliminations: The team
with the most wins will place first in the round robin. Final placement will be determined by adding
the round robin and elimination placements (lowest score places first).
TIES: Ties will be broken in the following
order: Previous head to head, fastest
time head to head, over all fastest time.
In the case of a tie in a division with an elimination round, the round
robin will be used to break the tie (in the following order- previous head to
head, fastest time head to head, over all fastest time).
We hope everyone stays healthy but, if you need it…
For human
health needs please see the head table.
We will direct you to an on site medic or the local hospital.
The 24 hour
emergency vet clinic is located at
The Hôpital vétérinaire de l’est is open on Sat and Sun from 9-5. It is located at 8700 Ave Chaumont in
