Raffle: Don’t forget to check out our awesome raffle!  It’s going to be huge!  One of our featured items is the Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner.  It retails for $750!  Read about this prize on our web site: http://www.dogzworth.com

Big O Flyball Souvenir Clothing: Don’t forget to purchase our Big O souvenir tee shirts and hoodies!  For those that pre-ordered your shirts will be available on Friday and Saturday.

Awards: Our very cool Big O Flyball souvenir awards will be presented to every human before racing begins on Saturday morning.  Please remember to pick them up with your time sheets and other “Welcome to the Big O” goodies!   This is our “All Frills” event!!   Board members coming without your team- we have a Big O Flyball award for all of you!  Please pick it up on Saturday morning.

The Bizzy Awards:  During our lunch break on Sunday we will be awarding our coveted "Bizzy Awards".  We're picking four dogs that really shine- your very special racers.. dogs and handlers that have that something special between them.  We'll know them when we see them!  Since we don't know everyone's dog we are asking for nominations, but keep in mind that a dog doesn't need to be nominated to earn a Bizzy.  All dogs racing at our Big O tournament will be considered for these special awards.  Here are is the wording for the four Bizzy awards: A Rescued Racer, Our Secret Weapon, A Dog That Never Slows Down & Is Always Ready To Go and A Veteran Racer- there is nothing like experience to help our team win the race.  We also have 4 other Bizzies to present!

Friday set up:  Friday set up of your crating area & flyball box drop off is highly recommended and available until approx 9:00 pm.  While you are there remember to stop by our complimentary food & drink table.  It is free!  On Friday you can drive directly to the flyball ring (or somewhat close).  Keep in mind there might be some traffic in the stadium.  There is no parking charge on Friday and you do not need a pass to get in.  To get into the stadium follow the signs to the Insectarium de Montréal at 4101 Sherbrooke Street East (it’s across the street from the Big O).  Turn into the insectarium.  Watch for a ramp that goes under the street.  This ramp will take you into the Big O.  There are signs.  You’re looking for “Le Stade”.  The access door you need is called “Marathon”.

Pet Show Passes:  Every human coming to our tournament needs a pass to get in on Saturday and Sunday.  Our free entry passes will be available on Friday in the flyball area.  One representative from each team should collect passes for his or her entire team.  If your team is not setting up on Friday passes can be picked up on Saturday morning at the main entrance into the pet show (follow the signs to “Stade” in the parking lot).  Look for the DogZworth team member- he or she will be holding some black and yellow balloons.  Our team member will be waiting at the security entrance it’s located just after the box office area (where the public will be buying their tickets to the show).  The entry fee is $12 per person- please don’t loose your free pass.  You will need it both days.

Where to park on Sat & Sun: Use indoor parking lot A2 (4141 Pierre de Coubertin). You should ask for a parking pass for the week end (the cost is $12.00 a day- the 2 day rate should be a dollar or 2 cheaper).  In the parking garage follow the signs to “Le Stade”.   Parking lot A1 works too.

On site camping: On site outdoor camping is available for $30 per night (there is no hook up). To get to the camping parking lot follow the signs to the Insectarium de Montréal at 4101 Sherbrooke Street East (it’s across the street from the Big O).  Turn into the insectarium.  Watch for a ramp that goes under the street.  This ramp will take you into the Big O.  There are signs.  You’re looking for “Le Stade”.  Ask the attendant.  He will show you where to go.  Please arrive before 10pm.

On site photographer: We are very pleased to announce that Len Silvester of TTL Action Photo will be coming from London, ON to photograph the event!  The lighting is great in the Big O so it's a super opportunity to get some excellent photos of our dogs racing!

Where to eat:  Food is available in the stadium.

NAFA title patches and replacement pins: see Kim from Hot Diggity Dogs.

The building will be open at 7:00am on Saturday and Sunday.  Measuring will begin at 7:30 on Saturday morning.

Warm-ups:  There will be a 1.5 minute warm-up period allowed at the beginning of each race.  Time will start when you have entered the ring.  The warm up time might change to a minute period.  We will advise you if the warm up time has been changed.

RACING:  Racing will begin at 8:00 am on Saturday and 7:30 am on Sunday.

In order to accommodate everyone’s Saturday evening dinner plans we plan to run 18 races per hour (or more!!).  If we all co-operate, it will be easy to accomplish that goal.  Remember this is a 1 schedule, 2 ring event.  The 2 race counters will display the highest number race currently running.  So for example, while race 1 and 2 are running, race 2 will be displayed on the counters and races 3 and 4 are on deck.  A DogZworth team member will be directing you to your ring so don’t guess where to go.  You want to be sure you’re running in the correct ring.  Another thing to remember this event attracts 1000s of spectators that have never seen flyball so smile, have FUN and if any of the spectators have questions please direct them to our information booth.

Our judges are Dave Walt and Carl Dingee.  Also appearing in the middle of the racing lanes are Danielle Beauregard, Gail D’Avolio, Cy Edmonds, Scott Stein and possibly a few other NAFA judges- yes we’ll be well taken care of!

Divisions have been divided according to the submitted team times.  Each division has been assigned a break-out time one second faster than the top seed time in that division (for additional information see NAFA rule 5.5).

Round Robin (3 out of 5 format): Teams will earn one point for each race they win and 0 for each loss.  The team with the highest point total will earn 1st place, the second highest will earn 2nd place and so on.

Eliminations: The team with the most wins will place first in the round robin.  Final placement will be determined by adding the round robin and elimination placements (lowest score places first).

TIES: Ties will be broken in the following order:  Previous head to head, fastest time head to head, over all fastest time.  In the case of a tie in a division with an elimination round, the round robin will be used to break the tie (in the following order- previous head to head, fastest time head to head, over all fastest time).

We hope everyone stays healthy but, if you need it…

For human health needs please see the head table.  We will direct you to an on site medic or the local hospital.
