Ally Stern-Kolesnikow- Ally is our flyball team's captain, head flyball trainer, Focus instructor and webmaster.  She's been captain of DogZworth since the team was established in 2004. Ally grow up in Montreal, moved to Toronto in 1998 and then moved back to Montreal in 2005.  Ally is married to DogZworth flyball team member Scott.  You can contact Ally at: ally@dogzworth.com

Occupation: mom to Kenzie, Levi and 6 dogs.  Ally also manages and teaches classes at "DogZworth's Canine Sports Center".  In the past Ally worked in administration in the high tech industry, taught canoeing at summer camp and worked as a gardener for her local public works department.

How she got her start in dog training:  In 1995 Ally made a purchase that would forever change her life.  She bought Monty, a 7 week old Border Collie.  Puppy and obedience classes with Jean Donaldson lead Ally to flyball and the Montreal Flyball Association. Less than a year later Ally was teaching flyball classes.  Ally also assisted with obedience classes at Who's Walking Who (Toronto, ON).

Ally and her dogs have competed in dog sledding, dock diving, Frisbee and agility.  In 2001 Ally and her dog Monty won the 22" Specials Class at Ontario's AAC Regionals (agility).  In 2008 her dog Bizzy was inducted in the NAFA Hall of Fame (flyball).  Also, in 2008 her dog Circus was voted MVP for NAFA's Region 20 (eastern ON & QC).

More about Ally: Over the years Ally and Melody have noticed that many people and their dogs are interested in dogsports but do not have the off leash relationship that is required to be successful.  So Ally and Melody solved the problem by developing and teaching their very popular "Focus" class.  The techniques we use are fun for the handlers & dogs and are based on positive reinforcement.  It is the same methods we use with our own dogs!

Other hobbies: None!  She's too busy with DogZworth, her 2 sons, Kenzie & Levi and 6 dogs.  She enjoys taking the dogs for a run.hide and seek, tea parties, Richard Scarry & Dr. Suess stories, Hungry, Hungry Hippos and Boggle Jr.  Ally is married to DogZworth team member Scott.

Ally's dogs are: Monty, Bizzy, Circus, Toon, Zooo and Tigee-Dooo.
